Oblivion remaster is possibly scheduled to be released on April 21st
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster is scheduled to officially launch at 12:00 PM Eastern Time tomorrow. It wasn’t until January 2025 that a new report (based on a resume from a former Weta employee) revealed that the Oblivion Remastered Edition was indeed imminent and disclosed many of its features. The game will be powered by Unreal Engine 5 from Epic and will be improved in six key areas: HUD (Heads-Up Display), Stamina, Sneak, Block, Archery, and Hit reactions.

According to a new report, fans of The Elder Scrolls are not only anticipating a remake of the game itself but also the opportunity to revisit its rich DLC content. At least that’s what Lord Cognito believes. In a recent Last Stand Media podcast, an Xbox insider claimed to have reliable information that Bethesda and Xbox will include all the DLC content from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in the upcoming remastered edition, rather than excluding it again or selling it separately.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles adds approximately 10 to 20 hours of content to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Meanwhile, The Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Nine adds about 5 to 10 hours of content to the core experience. Players seeking a complete experience will require additional time to finish both games.
Bethesda and Microsoft have not yet confirmed any news about this game. In fact, they have not yet admitted the existence of this game so far. However, word-of-mouth marketing on social media has obviously made it one of the most anticipated games of the year. Fans are so excited about the news of the upcoming release of this game that they can find related messages on the developers’ Oblivion remaster official website and even on search engines like Bing.
